Devon Park Square
is a newly proposed, 70,000 sq. ft. complex on a 6 acre site, located
in Southwestern Ontario's largest shopping district. On the eastern perimeter
the development adjoins Devonshire Mall property.
Devonshire Mall is
over 1,000,000 sq.ft. and home to 176 retailers including The Bay, Sears
and Zellers. With the addition of a 12-screen Cineplex Odeon theatre complex,
Devonshire Mall draws customers from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. In addition
to Devonshire Mall, the power centre within which Devon Park Square is
located, is home to other major retailers such as Home Depot, Toys R Us,
White Rose, Future Shop, Old Navy, McDonalds, The Keg and many more.
Site Summary
Devon Park Square is located at 3160 Marentette Ave., directly adjacent
to the Devonshire Mall and fronting the busiest car route in Windsor,
the E.C Row Expressway. Over 9 million people pass through the Devonshire
Mall on an annual basis and with the newly expanded 12 theatre Cineplex
Odeon, this is a prime retail location.
64,600 cars travel
the E.C Row Expressway on a daily basis (1991 study) allowing for the
best visibility in the entire City of Windsor. The shopping hub is visited
by 14,000,000 customers a year, who spend on average $95.00 per trip,
which results in average sq. ft. sales of $550.00.
The centre is flanked
by Windsor's main east/west expressway and situated on a major north/south
artery, connecting directly to Highway 401. The traffic count of these
two arteries was 104,200 cars in 1991 and is approximately double that
today. This shopping district is located within a 30 minute driving time
of 2.5 million people and a 1 hour driving time of 4.5 million people.
